The Flywheel is a legacy block that was repurposed to a decorative block. It is 3x3 in size, but only needs 1 block to be placed, similar to the Water Wheel.

Unlike other blocks; the flywheel starts accelerating when powered. When rotational force stops, it keeps it's momentum for a period of time. Rotational force cannot be extracted from this block.
