To start off, you're going to need some Train Track. Place this down in a line.

Connect a Train Station to the track, and open the interface. Press "Create New Train".

Place a Train Casing on the highlighted blue spot, and it will form a bogey. Note: a train requires a Train Controls and a Seat.
