Andesite Alloy Automation
-ok, someone put some sort of infinite lava production system right here. it seems (someone in comments ) that 10k block doesnt work
Note that there is most likely a far more efficient way to do this-I'm just making this up.
For Minecraft versions 1.17 and after
Placing lava a block above dripstone, and a cauldron below the dripstone, one can create a trickle of infinite lava. Note that the cauldron needs pipes to pump out the lava generated.
For any version
Using trains or pumping the lava from the Nether is your best bet. However, trains offer the most amount of automation to this setup, as pipes cannot flow through portals but tracks can. A tank that stores lava and some manual labour would be your best bet otherwise.
Method 1
- Place down two Millstones(1 and 2), with a cobblestone generator above each of them (a drill above a typical lava/water cobble gen).
- Feed the output of 1 into a 3rd Millstone, 3, and feed 3 and 2 into a Basin below a Mechanical Mixer.
- A lava line must be fed into the Mixer, and then use a Mechanical press above the Basin. The output of this final basin will be Andesite blocks. STOP HERE FOR JUST ANDESITE
IF ANDESITE ALLOYS ARE WANTED
- Use the Iron Ingot generator to feed a second basin with iron nuggets and feed this second basin also with the andesite from the previous basin.
- Use a mixer with the basin, and andesite alloys will be generated!
Method 2
This method of producing Andesite Alloy is overengineered and made for technical players. In the long run, this farm does not produce any by-products, but at the beginning it might have trouble getting all the resources because the wash recipes use probabilities, so it might not be a bad idea to back up the system at the beginning.
Items Needed
Basin
Crushing Wheel or
Millstone
Encased Fan
Mechanical Mixer
Mechanical Press
Mechanical Belt,
Shaft and
Cogwheel
Steps
- Connect a Cobblestone farm to three Millstones or three pairs of Crushing Wheels (I'll refer to them as crushing wheel 1, 2 and 3).
- Split the output of 1 into three outputs.
- Merge the first two outputs with the Gravel of the other two pairs of crushing wheels 2 and 3.
- Now the products of 2 and 3 (and a part of 1) get washed.
- Put the Flint and the gravel form the third output of crushing wheel 1 in a Basin and pump lava in before you can compact them. This mechanical press produces Andesite.
- Deposit the andesite and the nuggets (from the washed gravel) into another basin and place a Mechanical Mixer over it. Now Andesite Alloy is the result!
(pictures may come soon)
Efficiency
This technique produces 1 Andesite Alloy for every 9.54 Cobblestone.
